Eddie Trunk’s twitter feed has confirmed that Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister has passed away.
Kilmister, who had just celebrated his 70th birthday on Christmas Eve, has been the singer, songwriter and bassist of Motorhead since 1975. Lemmy is well known for his lifelong large intake of alcohol, namely Jack Daniels. In the documentary Live Fast Die Old, it was revealed that up until then he drank a bottle of Jack Daniels every day since 1975.
